Simeco’s TBR screens are used for solid-liquid separation and combine a bar screen with a spiral conveyor.
The basket screen is made of cylindrical bars, properly welded on the supporting frame.
The rotating rake, driven by the main drive, perform the screen clearing and when it reaches the top, it discharges the screenings inside the hopper, helped by the swinging paddle and the washing system.
Screenings are conveyed by a shafted screw until the compacting/dewatering section where both the volume and the weight are reduced (up to 40%).
The machine can be placed inside a channel of suitable width and shape, or can operate inside a tank.
