Simeco PTK Penstocks are used to control the water flow. They can be used in many field like waste water treatment plants, industrial plants and others.
Simeco’s range includes 3 sides and 4 sides penstocks as they are the most common in waste water treatment field, and weir gates for downward opening application.
They can be wall mounted or channel mounted penstocks; usually they are specially designed to fit the channel dimensions from the engineering calculation.
The penstock opening can be controlled by a manual wheel handle or using an electrical actuator: this allow the remote control of the penstock.
The material of construction can be painted mild steel or stainless steel grade 304 or 316; when it’s needed, other kind of steel can be used (duplex or AISI 904); usually seals are MBR.
