BU-S is a micro combined equipment for screenings, grit and grease removing; it represents the most economical solution when a complete pre-treatment has to be performed on small flow rates.
The incoming wastewater is filtered by a screw screen with the screen basket made of perforated plate or wedge wire.
After the screen, the waste water goes to the settling tank. The tank fluid dynamic is designed to achieve a high grit separation degree in a small volume.
The special internal baffle system allows an efficient separation of the sand that is collected at the bottom and then removed by the spiral conveyor.
The unit is available in two configurations:
The CBUS – 3 performs the complete treatment including screening, grit and oil / grease separation; a special designed grease removing system allow to remove floating matters (FOG).
Usually this unit is provided with a blower to increase the grit separation and the FOG removal.
The CBUS – 2 performs the wastewater screening and the grit separation.
The unit can be manufactured in stainless steel grade 304 or 316, with spirals in carbon steel or stainless steel and/or many combination of the two materials.
